As the 80’s kids, one of my favourite movie is the American movie titled the 3 ninjas. You know, the ninja grandpa training his grandchildren Rocky, Cole and Tom Tom to be ninja kids? Anyway, I was super excited to joined #Kidstart ‘s #NinjasOntheMouseIsland activity in May. Definitely going to be fun with this interesting combination of Ninjas and Playground ! In case you’ve no idea, Mouse Island is an adventurous children playground located in Tuen Mun, in between Siu Lun Court and Hanford Garden.  First we all meet up at the pavilion, Ninja master taught little ninjas to make their own darts and sword ! After that, they have to sit and listen to the “history” of ninja lesson before getting their attires. Master gave the little ninjas a couple of missions, off they go to the adventure land !  There’s quite a few missions to be completed at the Mouse Island. It’s summer vacay and I’ve been planning to take kids back to mommy’s hometown. Daddy is not coming with us because he needs to work. So, I challenged myself to fly solo with 2 kids. It’s just 4 hours flight back to Malaysia, for 23 days 💪 It’s not my first time flying solo with kid, went London with K last summer when she is merely 3 years old but this time I’m doing it with 2 under 4 toddlers.  One thing I learnt from all the travelling with kids, it’s important to travel light and comfy. Things I DO NOT BRING while travelling, be it Thailand or Japan.  First, I ditched stroller for sure! It ain’t going to be light and easy when you have to push that thing around or figure a spot to place it well. My kids learnt that “it’s either they walk by themselves, or we are not going anywhere” since young. And NO I am not going to carry them. If they are tired and need to nap, we will stop at coffee shops and they can rest on my lap or koala hug on me.  Second, I am not bringing...

Been hearing good things about Tsuen Wan's The Mills and Finland-forest theme playhouse, The Big Things. Nana's group of friends from "after school crazy run" decided to head over and check it out ! As usual, it all happened on a Friday, right after school. There's an exhibition on old school days, we got to explain to our children how our classrooms looks like, the books, the uniform, learning materials. After that, we went to the newly opened playhouse, The Big Things. I received many message from friends in March on news and information regarding Hong Kong first My Little Pony Friendship Carnival at AIA Vitality Park. Friends sending to me knowing K is a big fan of the ponies for over a year now. To avoid the crowd, we made arrangements to go after school on 29th,  with 2 of her "after school play buddies".  Obviously K and Tong are the little fans of MLP, both adores Twilight Sparkle (the purple one) most.  Him wasn't interested in ponies but had fun with the activities. Entrance fees comes with $20 to be spent at the game booths. 7 free activities to collect stickers for prize drawing. The only charging activities (beside food and drinks booths) are face painting and specially printed photo with characters. Anyway, the ponies are coming out on stage to take pictures with kids and adults, I really don't see necessity to pay for it 🤭 K and her friends enjoyed the carnival. Finally, both Kids are back to school from 25th. K then had fever on Friday 🤦 apparently from the heat her body has absorbed and physically exhausted throughout the 10 days Easter break . She is all good by now, waking me and the lil bro up before 7am to play 😴  Throw back to the most tiring final days of the Easter activities happened on 23-24th April . With past year's Magicarnival experience, Mr and I decided to make it a yearly fun time to stay a night at the Disneyland's hotel and joined the Easter Magicarnival. The package deal is way more reasonable during weekdays with a night at Disney newest hotel, the Disneyland Explorer's Lodge, 2 Magicarnival tickets worth $600 (we have to get extra 2 but at discounted price of $400),  dining voucher and discount coupons.  Disneyland's Easter Magicarnival have over 30 activities, scattered throughout 3 hotels - Disneyland's Resort, Explorer's Lodge and Hollywood, so it's not overly crowded. Scheduled a playdate at KidsKiss Kingdom親子主題餐廳 with K's friends since baby-time. 4 of them (2 boys and 2 girls) are September babies! We mommies knew each other for 4 years and we kept the friendship real and sincere with almost monthly gathering and schedule for kids fun time whenever possible. Says who that there's no real friends in mommy group?  Back to our happy Monday; Kids have so much fun running around the playhouse. They enjoyed all facilities including the transparent tube sliding, climbing up and around the net, jumping into pool of plastic balls,  driving the wheels, the wooden train and tracks, role play in the kitchen and supermarket area.
