Legoland Discovery Centre

LEGO indoor playground is coming to town ! The 30000sqf indoor fun is opening in March at the basement of K11 Musea.

K and D were super excited about it. From the posters along the way, we are expecting lots of family fun ride and play zones. And boy we are not disappointed 🥳 Besides the fun rides, there’s Lego friends and vehicles build & play zone, workshops, 🎬 4D cinemas with Lego-related short films, coffee shop for parents to grab a cuppa ☕️etc.
At entrance, after temperatures checking, form filling and sanitizing, remember to get the photo card. Scan the barcodes for free touristy pictures to be downloaded via my magic photos.
The Merlin’s apprentice ride is like “dumbo” at the dreamy theme park; you pedal the cart in order to go up while it’s goes around. K and D are both over 110cm but they couldn’t reach to pedal, so the workout is on the adult sitting next to them !
Then, they spent most of their time at the 2 build and playzone. Lego Friends are definitely a girl thing, K spent quite some time there; but she couldn’t resist the build and test your cars zone where D refuse to leave. Basically they build their car, and put on tract for a test run.
Like all theme parks, the only exit is through the gift and souvenirs shop ! I must say the temptation is not only to the kids but adults! So many good stuff on shelves, cute one, cool one, beautiful one, collections... I almost give in.

Sai Yuen - Camping Adventure Park

Proclaim: I am not advertising for them, I am not paid to do this. This is just my review, my sharing, my experience.  Note: Mask on face at all time! Even when we are doing activities. Be safe, and don’t give a reason for these facilities to be forced to close too.   Last weekend, we took kids glamping at Sai Yuen aka the camping adventure park. It’s an outdoor adventure playground with over 11 acres of land on Cheung Chau. They offer different themes of camping areas include the Native America Teepee, African Safari Tent, Geodesic Dome and Mongolian Ger. And of course they have plenty of space where you could just bring your own tents and tools. It’s a different experience from our usual camping at public camp site.  It is private, well managed with facilities such as the cooking/ bbq areas, showers, toilets, children play area and having vending machines with snacks, drinks and even toiletries.  We took the express ferry from Central Piers to Cheung Chau. Then hop...

The old school playground - Holiday Farm

Be safe, and don’t give a reason for these facilities to be forced to close too.  Holiday farm is a family run, educational and interactive farm situated in Sheung Shui. It promotes green culture and environmental friendly lifestyle hence being there do make you feel closer to the nature; especially with their originality on play equipments. Last holiday, we took kids to Holiday Farm. Honestly, it’s an exciting place to be, we have a wonderful day, from 10 to 5pm 👍 Kids love everything they saw! The treehouse slides, the horses riding made with recycled materials, the barrel slides, the “carpets” slides, each of these gave so much fun and create unforgettable memories.  The activities are divided into 2 categories, the generals (include botanic gardens, boat through the pond, rickshaw, gr...

Balance beam 6. “A” wall  7. Spider webs  8. Barbed wire  9. A frame  10. Log jump Kids love every bits! Well, almost every single one except the mud pit which got them in a little bit of a sticky situation. There are moments which I’d love not to forget, moments that my kids made me so proud of myself as a mother 😂  We joint the open category for age 4 to 6, which K is 6y2m and D is 4y8m. They have been quite an active kids, of course I have no doubt in their capability to finish the challenge. However, they do surprise me with their team spirits and sharpness at taking down each obstacles.  K shows her determi...
